About Verve

Verve is an online collective and resource that promotes reflection on arts education, art, and teaching practices. Developed by Marwen Teaching Artists and staff, it aims to bridge the distance between our schedules and locations to generate active dialog and enrich our teaching artist community. Verve is collaboratively authored by Marwen teaching artists, staff, peers, and other experts in the field of education.

The Marwen Teaching Artist Fellows were a rotating group of five of our most dedicated and enthusiastic teaching artists who work to help make Marwen the best it can be for our students, teaching artists, assistant teaching artists, and staff. They collaborated to strengthen Marwen’s teaching artist professional development by taking on the roles of advocate, role model, and researcher.

In 2015 the Fellows program was re-envisioned into a larger group called the Teaching Artist Advisory Board.
